Re:Writ is a songwriting workspace that tracks line-by-line authorship as you write — distinguishing your original words from AI-suggested text you accepted, modified, or rejected. The Fingerprint document Re:Writ generates is a self-attested authorship record, not a verified legal determination. Re:Writ does not guarantee that a Fingerprint will be accepted by the U.S. Copyright Office, a PRO, a label, or any other third party.

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter, including your legal name, citizenship, and any co-author information and ownership splits. Knowingly providing false information in connection with a copyright registration may result in cancellation of that registration and potential liability under 17 U.S.C. §506(e). Re:Writ is a documentation aid, not legal advice — consult a qualified attorney before relying on a Fingerprint for any legal or commercial purpose.

If you list co-authors on a song, you are responsible for obtaining their consent before entering their information, or ensuring they sign the Fingerprint document individually where the product supports it. Veridem Holdings Inc. is not responsible for disputes between co-authors regarding ownership splits or authorship credit.

Re:Writ tracks which AI tools and suggestions you used while writing. This tracking is based on what you tag within the app — Re:Writ does not independently verify the source of any text you mark as human-written.

Your songs, lyrics, line-level authorship tags, journal entries, and Fingerprint exports are stored to your account.

Re:Writ is provided "as is." We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a Re:Writ Fingerprint document.

We may update these Terms as Re:Writ evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
