Privacy Policy

Re:Writ (rewrit.io) is run by Veridem Holdings Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation. Contact: hello@getveridem.com. This policy covers Re:Writ only. Our other tools and getveridem.com have their own policies.

You can sign in with email and password, a one-time email link (magic link), Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple. For your account we keep your email address and the sign-in details those services give us. You can also continue as a guest. Guest songs are saved only in your own browser on your device. We do not receive them. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, guest songs are gone. Guests cannot use the AI Co-Writer, voice transcription, cloud saving, uploads, signing, or Registry certificates.

When you are signed in, we store what you create so it is there next time: • Songs: titles, lyrics, drafts, section notes, song structure plans, journal entries, and your line-by-line authorship tags (Human, Modified, AI). • Authorship details you choose to enter: legal names, citizenship, co-author names, roles and ownership splits, signatures, and the AI tools you declare. • Your "My Sound" description and the short notes the Co-Writer learns about your style. You can turn My Sound off for any song. • Uploads: song audio (up to 2 files, 25 MB each, per song), Mood Pad images and Mic Check recordings, Hum Pad and Gallery recordings and files (up to 10 MB each), and screenshot evidence for your drafts (up to 4 per song, 5 MB each). These are stored privately. Only you can open them, through links that expire (usually after one hour). If you export a Fingerprint file for MHAIX, the Mic Check links inside it last one year so the import still works. Generated cover art uses long-lived private links. • Usage counts: how many Co-Writer and transcription requests you made each day, so we can apply plan limits. • Plan status from payments (see section 06). We use this only to run Re:Writ. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your songs to train AI models.

Re:Writ's AI features are provided through the Lovable AI Gateway, which passes requests to Google (Gemini) models, and for Sketchpad voice transcription, to OpenAI. • Co-Writer: when you ask it something, we send your request, recent chat messages, the song or section you chose to share, song details (genre, mood, subject), your My Sound description and learned notes (unless My Sound is off for that song), and your human-share goal numbers if you set one. • Transcription: when you use Speak, Hum or voice input, the recording is sent to be turned into text. Re:Writ does not save your AI conversations in our database. Replies are shown to you and saved only if you move them into your song. The AI providers process requests under their own terms and may keep limited records for security and abuse checks; we do not control that. Your authorship score is calculated in your own browser, not by AI. Only the resulting score and tier are saved with your song.

When you finalize a song, Re:Writ can create a Fingerprint certificate. Paid plans can also add a digital signature: we create a signing key for your account, keep the private part locked on our servers where no one can read it through the app, and store each signature with the exact data it signed. If you list co-authors, you are telling us you have their permission to enter their details. A co-author's name, role and split are only sent to the public Registry if that co-author signs and agrees to the current consent statement. Each signing co-author gets their own permanent verification link. We do not send anyone's email address to the Registry.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe keeps your payment details under its own privacy policy. We store only your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your plan, its status and renewal date, and a record of any Boost Pack you buy and the credits it added. Re:Writ does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores small pieces of information for the app to work: your sign-in session, guest songs, drafts, and settings such as which panels are open. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies to track you and, according to Cloudflare, does not build profiles of visitors. It records things like the page address, the site that sent you, browser and device type, and country.

• Our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud) stores accounts, songs and files, and keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and time of request. • Lovable AI Gateway, Google and OpenAI for AI features (section 04). • Stripe for payments (section 06). • Cloudflare for visit statistics. • Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them. • The Veridem Registry for certificates (section 09). • Slack: if you request Studio access, your name, email, account ID and what you are interested in are sent to our team's private Slack channel so we can reply.

When you register a certificate, it goes to the Veridem Authorship Registry, which is public by design. Anyone with a certificate ID can check that it is genuine, which tool issued it, when, and whether it is active. The full record, which can include the creator's name, song title, score, the AI tools declared, consenting co-authors' names, roles and splits, and the lyrics (unless you marked the song as unreleased), only unlocks with that certificate's private token or QR code. If you share the token or QR code, anyone you share it with can see the full record. Registry records are permanent. For more, see the Veridem Privacy Policy.

We keep your songs, uploads and settings for as long as your account is open. We have not set an automatic deletion period. Daily usage counts are kept with your account. Registry certificate records are kept permanently; replaced records are marked as superseded rather than deleted. Our providers keep their own logs under their own rules.

You can delete your account in the app. This deletes your sign-in, your Gallery items and files, and every song that was never registered, along with its audio, images, recordings, screenshots and cover art. Your plan, credits and signing key are removed with your account. Songs that were finalized and registered in the Registry, and their signatures, are kept so existing certificates keep working. They are unlinked from your account. Registry records themselves are permanent.

Re:Writ is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts. A person under 18 may use Re:Writ only through an account opened and controlled by a parent or legal guardian, with that adult's consent and supervision. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, given us personal information or finalized a certificate, email hello@getveridem.com and we will work with you to correct or address it. Registry certificate records are permanent, so some finalized public-record information cannot be deleted.

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@getveridem.com. We may need to confirm who you are first. Registered certificate records are permanent, but we will explain what can be changed.
