Accessibility Statement

We want every songwriter to be able to use Re:Writ. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

On September 30, 2026, we ran automated tests with axe-core (version 4.13) against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level A and AA rules, at desktop and phone screen widths, with the device's "reduce motion" setting turned on. Pages tested as a guest: Home, About, Help, Pricing, Privacy, Terms, Accessibility, Proving Lyric Authorship, Sign in, Gallery, Locker and Fingerprints. Signed in: Home, Fingerprints, Locker, Gallery and the song editor. What we found and fixed: • The scrolling photo strip on the Home page could not be reached with a keyboard. It can now. • Some gold shimmer headings and the glowing Tools button kept moving with "reduce motion" on. They now stay still. After these fixes, the tests found no remaining problems on the pages above. Every control those tests checked has a name screen readers can announce.

• Authorship tags are never shown by color alone; each has a letter label (H, M, A). • Voice input is available as an alternative to typing in the Notepad and editor. • Pop-ups can be closed with the Escape key and return focus to where you were.

• Automated testing does not catch everything, and we have not yet had a review by people who use assistive technology. • Pop-up tools inside a song (Co-Writer, AI Draft Pad, Song Structure, Mood Pad, Sketchpad, Notepad, Audio, Journal) were not each scanned on their own. • Keyboard-only use has not been fully checked across every writing workflow, including drag-and-drop section reordering. • Some images contain printed wording that is decorative and is not read out. • Some moving effects inside tools may not yet respect "reduce motion."
